R588 Parking Logic

What the camera does when the engine stops. Parking Monitor decides whether an impact is answered; Time lapse decides, separately, whether the parked camera keeps recording.

Monitor off · Lapse offACC off → sleeps and stays deaf. Only the ignition brings it back.
Monitor on · Lapse offSleeps, listening. An impact wakes it, it records normal video for one Loop Recording Time, then sleeps again.
Monitor on · Lapse onTime-lapse runs for the chosen window. An impact switches to normal speed for one Loop Recording Time, then the time-lapse resumes.
OFF · no B+ DRIVING · ACC on PARKING · timer on SLEEP · impact-armed

The sounds

start.mp3Power-on chime — readiness only, never a mode word
accOff.mp3מצב חניה"parking mode" — every ACC OFF
accOn.mp3מצב נסיעה"driving mode" — every ACC ON
startLapseRec.mp3צילום בחניה פועל"parking recording active" — only when the timer is on
du.mp3Short beep — every G-sensor impact, in every mode
wifiOff.mp3"Wi-Fi off" — the AP shuts itself down after a few minutes of driving, and on the button
wifiOn.mp3"Wi-Fi on" — the button brings the AP back while driving
What this simulator is based on. Taken from the firmware itself: the button threshold (5000 ms — short press toggles Wi-Fi, longer restores factory settings), the Wi-Fi switch behaviour, every settings list and factory default in the app (they are the firmware's own option tables), the recording folders and bitrates, and the voice files and where they are played.

Indicator. One blue LED: it blinks once a second while recording and goes dark when recording stops — confirmed both in the firmware and on the device. The red LED is lit by the bootloader during a firmware update. Note that a stopped recording shows the same dark LED as a camera with no power.

Taken from observation, not yet from the code: the Wi-Fi idle shutdown after a few minutes of driving.
